Transformers 3 has been shooting on location in Chicago over the past week or so, and as you might expect, they’ve turned part of the city into a battleground. There have been plenty of pictures and videos popping up around the web (including some over at Just Jared , Screen Rant and the Chicago Tribune ), but we just got our hands on a pretty cool video of our own. Rus in Chicago sent us this behind…

The Windy City Wins the Cup. This team has that ’something’ that you need to win. It was an event decades in the making. It was a drought a city could no longer stand. The Chicago Blackhawks, one of the National Hockey League’s “original six” franchises, hadn’t celebrated a Stanley Cup victory since 1961. Before...

Movie Poster Round-Up: The Last Exorcism, Kane & Lynch, Scream 4
Some interesting movie posters have been released over the past couple of weeks including a handful of horror movie one-sheets and some early promotional pieces that have turned up at Cannes as well. The first official poster for the Eli Roth-produced The Last Exorcism is creepy and effective, as is the new Splice poster. Meanwhile the first teaser...

Shia LaBeouf Admits that Indy 4 and Transformers 2 Sucked
It’s not too often that you hear a filmmaker or an actor admit that a movie they were involved in didn’t turn out so great. Which is precisely why it always stands out as being a little odd when someone actually does it. Shia LaBeouf has been out promoting Wall Street 2 over the past week in Cannes, and for some reason, he thought...

[VIDEO] Wish List: Animated G.I. Joe Resolute on Blu-ray
Argh! This is where it’s at! Nevermind that I enjoyed the crap out of the live action G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra . This animated adventure, the 58 minute G.I. Joe Resolute bests it in almost every way. It’s only problems – it’s too damn short and it’s not on Blu-ray. Like I said, “Argh!” So, Paramount...

[VIDEO] Bruno Blu-ray Deleted Scene – La Toya won’t imitate Michael Jackson
I’m not sure what makes me more uncomfortable here: the naked, portly man covered in sushi or the strange, inhuman laughter from La Toya Jackson as she’s pressed by Bruno ( Sacha Baron Cohen ) for information on her brother Michael . Urgh. I can see why they chopped this scene out the film, which reached theaters mere weeks after the...

Movie Poster Round-Up: The Last Airbender, The Ghost Writer, Hot Tub Time Machine
As you might expect with the Sundance Film Festival going on last week, there were quite a few cool movie posters that surfaced for many of the movies in competition. When combined with some of the new one-sheets for upcoming studio releases, this week’s movie poster round-up is actually a pretty decent collection of graphic design brilliance....
Captain America director talks suit, style, casting
I’ve always been voicing my concerns about how Captain America would work in the international world we live in today, but the news about the Captain America film that has been leaking out of late is giving me hope that maybe there’s something to be had in the film. There has been talk of the costume and how that’s going to work,...
Bay talks Transformers 3
Michael Bay and his sound team have been talking about the work involved in bringing a feeling of reality to the fantastical on screen robots that have been created in the two Transformer films, and that reality has been drastically helped by sound. While doing that Bay revealed a possibility about the third Transformers film and what it might include,...
