Triskaidekaphobics should probably stay away from this film, which gives us all ample reason to feel how unlucky the number 13 is. Though it’s more than a little embarrassing for me to admit it, my grandmother was one of those vestiges of the late 19th and early 20th centuries who resolutely refused to believe we had actually landed on the moon....

Or, Galaxy of Repetitiveness and Clunky 1970s Technology. Why did they all have to die? In some ways, Galaxy of Terror seems sort of like the B-movie antithesis of Forbidden World . Never mind that both are outer space/monster/Sci-Fi/Horror/gore pictures that share a few set decorations; Galaxy of Terror seems to be aiming for a slightly more intellectually...

Sam Rockwell has done some pretty great work over the past decade, often comfortably occupying that undefined space somewhere between comedy and drama. I vaguely remember hearing that he had starred in a sports comedy called The Winning Season recently, but when it premiered at Sundance last year I think it must have been somewhat overshadowed...
